David Ramp Appointed Director of UAB SBDC

 

avid V. Ramp was announced as the new UAB SBDC Center Director August 1, 2007. Ramp has been at the Center for
thirteen years serving in the role as counselor. In addition, he has also coordinated the training activities with Childcare Resources for many years and produced a number of handout materials used with clients, including “Guide to Writing a Business Plan”.  Ramp’s vision for the UAB Small Business Devleopment Center includes additional contact with outside resource partners,
more visibility for the center, and a strong effort to meet and exceed all assigned deliverables. He plans to continue to develop the capabilities of the staff and hopes to work closely
with other campus organizations ensuring the UAB SBDC’s role as a a vital partner in the outreach activities of the UAB School of Business.
