Besides being a second generation entrepreneur, he was the owner of The Spacewalker LLC which began in the year 2000 with one inflatable and – with the help of the SBDC at ASU and Mr. Lorenzo Patrick – saw it grow over 18 years to over 60 inflatable units, over 250 pieces of rental equipment, and an indoor play facility. During his time as an entrepreneur Mr. Bowen was able to build relationships with multiple Chambers of Commerce and secured various repeat clients, including the City of Montgomery, City of Prattville, City of Trussville, schools (ASU, Tuskegee University, Stillman College, Auburn University, AUM, Huntingdon College, Troy Universities, and over 75% of the schools in the River Region and central Alabama) and provided entertainment for some of the biggest events (Jubilee Cityfest, Troy university tailgate, ASU’s new stadium grand opening, Mardi Gras, etc) in the south.
