DaySpring Nature Shop

DaySpring Nature Shop AuburnWhen Cheryl Brooks learned that land and building where she was employed were slated to be sold, she jumped into action. It was 2019, and Dayspring, a natural health and wellness store in Auburn, had existed for almost 50 years. Rather than yielding to the impending closing, Cheryl seized the moment as an opportunity and embarked on a journey to purchase the business and find a new location.

Cheryl had never owned a business. She contacted the Alabama SBDC at Auburn University to assist with the startup and marketing details. The Auburn SBDC provided information on business formation, licensing, and assisted in creating a marketing plan. The grand opening for Dayspring Nature Shop was held in the fall of 2019.

Cheryl’s presence in Opelika proved transformative. She not only preserved Dayspring’s essence but also infused it with innovation and a renewed sense of purpose. Her unwavering commitment to quality, personalized service, and a genuine passion for promoting health and wellness became the driving force behind the business’s growth.
